Baltimore has a bunch of Holiday themed festivals going on throughout the season which are surely worth a visit. They're not quite all directly at the Inner Harbor, but easy to reach by car or public transportation.
Nov 25th - 27th, 2016: Kennedy Krieger Festival of Trees
This 3 day festival includes fun activity for the whole family: train rides, a carousel, Santa's Workshop, fun games, around 100 gift boutiques and over 700 spectacular Holiday trees. The sale of the trees benefits the Kennedy Krieger Institute and thus helps a children with special needs. Great event with an even greater cause! Nov 26th - 27th, 2016: Christkindlmarkt at Zion Church
The German Zion Church along with the Baltimore Kickers organizes this two day Christkindlsmarkt at the churches premises. Make sure to stop by to experience this traditional German Christmas market inside the church. The Nuremberg Christkind will visit this market on Sunday, Nov 27th shortly before she opens Christmas Village in Baltimore.
Christmas Lights on 34th Street
Every year, a block of 34th street in Hampden transforms into Christmas Light wonderland - a whole block is covered over and over in Christmas lights. Definitely a MUST do for the whole family! Since 34th street is rather long, here's the address you want to use for your GPS: 720 West 34th Street, Baltimore, MD 21211. PANDORA Ice Rink
Ice Skating in the City? No problem, the PANDORA Ice Rink is just around the corner from Christmas Village. Go for a spin and teach your children to skate or enjoy a cozy and romantic date at the rink. Gingy the Gingerbread Man, Christmas Village's mascot, is a regular at their costume skate sessions. Make sure to snap a picture with him while skating!
Maryland Science Center
The Maryland Science Center, just steps away from Christmas Village, lets your senses and mind wander while you explore hands-on activities. The museum, which features an IMAX theater and a planetarium, has a wide variety of exhibits which focus on the little ones. Great destination for the whole family!
The National Aquarium in Baltimore surely is a hit with the kids! It houses dolphins, sharks, rays and a total of 17,000 creatures, all to be explored in naturalistic habitats. There is lots and lots to do, since this spectacular aquarium features a 4-D Immersion Theater, a Living Seashore touchpool, a walk-through rain forest and a 35-foot waterfall.
Port Discovery Children's Museum
The Port Discovery Children's Museum offers hands-on experiences that ignite imagination, inspire learning and nurture growth through play. Kids from age two to 10 can explore three floors filled with fun, educational, and interactive experiences!
Ripley's Believe It Or Not
Find shrunken heads, the Fiji island mermaid, a 12ft tall Transformer sculpture made of scrap car parts and lots of hands-on activities just a few steps down the Waterfront Promenade! Ripley's Believe It Or Not awaits visitors of all ages in its Odditorium.
For Sports Lovers
Baltimore is a great place to be for all sports fans! Catch a ravens game while in town and witness how Baltimore transforms into purple Ravens Town on Sunday Nov 27th (Bengals), Sunday Dec 4th (Dolphins), and Sunday Dec 18th (Eagles).
If you are more into Baseball, consider visiting the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum to learn more about George Herman Ruth Jr., America's first sport celebrity.

Ever wondered how Christmas Village looks from above? Find out by visiting the Observation Level of Baltimore's World Trade Center, just across the Harbor. Being located at the 27th floor, it offers you the best view of the city in every direction.
Fort McHenry National Monument
Well, a visit at Fort McHenry National Monument and the Historic Shrine is a must for every tourist in Baltimore. Learn more about the Battle of Baltimore and the birth of the "Star Spangled Banner" while touring this historic landmark. The majestic USS Constellation awaits its visitors at its mooring just a few foot away from Christmas Village.
