Once again, the original Christkind from Nuremberg will open the Christmas Village in Baltimore with her solemn prologue! She will be accompanied by city officials, a local choir and musicians from the Baltimore area to kick off the 2016 Holiday Season on Saturday, November 26th.
Meeting the Christkind is not the only thing we have planned for the weekend: we'll bring back the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and we will have many other performers and bands to entertain you - sounds fun, huh?
November 26th - schedule of the day:
2:30pm: the original Christkind from Nuremberg is arriving at the Inner Harbor on a decorated Water Taxi
3:00pm: the offical Opening Ceremony with the Christkind takes place at the Christmas Village

After the offical Opening Ceremony the Christkind will walk through the market and give out candies to the small ones - be sure to be there and take a picture with the Christkind and give her your gift wish list!
4:30pm: when it's getting dusky it's time to start our Tree Lighting Ceremony; City Representatives and the Christkind will light our beautiful 21-foot Christmas Tree
