Kid Friendly Events 2019

There is lots to do for the little ones! Come with the whole family to get into the Christmas spirit!

Kid Friendly Events 2019

Christmas Village is a family friendly event. Grab your whole family to enjoy a fun filled day in the city!

All kids 18 and under gain free entry to our heated Christmas Village Tent every day!

Santa will be taking a break from his toy making activities to meet you and take pictures! He will have his own booth in our outside area! Tell Santa your wishes and make sure you are on the nice list. Keep an eye out for his pal, Gingy, our beloved gingerbread mascot, as he will be strolling the market. He is always happy to welcome our little guests.

Come and visit our Kids Corner with seating possibilities and free giant games for the little ones. As long as the weather is good, the corner will be open Friday through Sunday.

Lantern Parade with St. Nicholas, Saturday, December 7th, 2019

Join us at 4:30 pm at Christmas Village for a family fun event where children will build Christmas lanterns from a traditional kit that includes the lantern, a small light, and a stick to carry the lantern. While the kids are putting together their lanterns, the Pastor of the Zion Church in Baltimore will tell the story of the German lantern parades.

Then at 5:00 pm, we will begin our lantern parade to the Amphitheater of Baltimore before returning to Christmas Village (all participants are reminded to dress warmly for the walk). The parade will also be joined by St. Nicholas!

At 5:30 pm when we arrive back at Christmas Village, all of the children will receive a hot chocolate (included within the prize of the ticket) while hearing fairytales in front of the stage. There will also be the chance to take a picture with St. Nicholaus.

Tickets can be purchased on!
